Cotswold Farm Park

Hi All, I have just had another busy weekend with my family.

I had a girly date with my little sis on Saturday; fun at Paint-A-Pot before swimming in their local pool and lunch out.

Then Sunday we went to the Cotswold Farm Park.

It was quite a grey day, but they have just started lambing season, so a lot of their sheep were in the Demo Barn which has been turned into a Maternity Ward for the time being.

There were a number of new arrivals Sunday, and some cuties who were a few days old!

Have a look below…

It was very busy with expectant mothers in three large sections, but there were smaller bays for the mothers with newborns…

There were some lamps set up in a few of the pens for those that needed a bit extra warmth…

There were some nanny goats there as well waiting to give birth…

And look at these newborn kids, only an hour or two old when the photos were taken…

I went with my family just before Crimbo as well (they have a season pass!), and that trip the weather was a lot brighter (but one hell of a lot colder).

I got some really good shots of more of the animals then but didn’t get a chance to share the pics before. Take a peek in another post coming soon when I will be sharing those pics of these adorable animals.

In the mean time though, I will leave you with this pile of piglets! 🙂 DSC00151
