My Recent Adventures Part 7 – Witley Court

One of the other adventures I went on with my family was to Witley Court – an English Heritage site in Worcestershire. I’ve been there a few times before with them, and I know they go there quite a bit. This time it was my mum, Miss T. and Miss P. with me while the others were busy elsewhere. It was really nice to spend some time with them.

Take a look below at some of the photos I snapped on our way round…

It was still spring when we went, so some of the plants were just budding, including these cool looking ferns…

The flowers along the pathways looked gorgeous…

There was a lone swan on the lake, picking at some of the overgrowth, that really caught my eye…

Some more flowers growing along the path by the lake…

Mum spotted these near the boathouse, a sea of blue next to the water…DSC02912DSC02913DSC02914

We stopped at the little tea room for a sneaky cake and drink. Inside I spotted this cool old typewriter…

And outside they had some funky looking Daffs…

We then walked back up, collecting pine cones on the way (I think mum ended up with 8 or 9 little bags full of them attached to her rucksack). And on into the main part of Witley Court…

Cus I was facing into the sun I couldn’t quite get the colours right, so thought the pics worked better in black and white…

Gives it that old world charm don’t you think?

And back into colour…

A quick peek at the fountain before walking on through…

I let Miss T. and Miss P have a go on the camera as well, here are some of the (clearer) shots they managed to take…

I think they are pretty good pics for two 5 1/2 year olds! Don’t you?

We then walked on back towards the lake and I spotted some more great shots…

It was another fab day out and was such fun spending time with the little girlies – even when Miss T lost another tooth (major gappy).

I wanted to leave you with one final pic, of these two amazing and cute girls…

They just walked off in front of mum and me holding hands without being prompted! So adorable!!!
